Assets

Current technician asset capabilities on web and mobile, including role limits.

Assets support technician work, but capability differs by platform.

Desktop web capabilities

On web Assets, technicians can:

  • browse and search assets,
  • open asset detail,
  • create new assets.

Technicians cannot perform admin-level modifications (such as edit/archive/delete actions) unless role permissions are higher.

Mobile assets status

Mobile More > Assets is the entry point for field asset operations.

Current state:

  • Add asset flow is available,
  • full local-first asset list/filter integration is still being rolled out,
  • placeholder copy may still appear on this screen during rollout.
  • Use web Assets for complete registry visibility.
  • Use mobile asset entry when adding items in field context.
  • For structural registry changes beyond your role, contact organization admin.
